Our first visit to Belton house was almost a year ago and where I suffered from an acute case of photo deprivation when my then Canon camera had a touch of the wobblies. 

Things have moved on since then, and over the last 12 months or so I have grown to be quite fond of the new Finepix camera which if I am honest I use much of the time in auto mode. Being National Trust, no photography is allowed inside the house, but the gardens are most enjoyable for a walk around and there are no restrictions on where you point the lens.

I hadn't realised that they had already produced a brood which must have been during the recent very cold weather.
